I tried to install this awhile ago, and I could not get it to work. I think GimpShop is not being maintained any more and is pretty old. There are also Gimp themes that make it look and work a lot like PhotoShop. There are excellent tutorials for all levels of users on the Gimp website as well on YouTube (see "PhotoAdvanced") and other websites. If you don’t already have a good malware scanner, my personal favorite is Malwarebytes which offers a free version as well as a 14-day trial of their premium features here. If you are familiar with any photo image editing software, then it should not take that long to figure out a new one like Gimp. The original open-source GIMPshop project has been duplicated by scammers using it as a way to install spyware and adware.
